The length of this cruise gives you the opportunity to discover the "ILES SOUS LE VENT" in more depth, thanks to a dream itinerary along the BORA BORA, TAHAA, RAIATEA and HUAHINE islands, on a journey of 150 nautical miles (280 km).
ROA YACHTING suggests the following 7-day programme, but you can alter the itinerary and schedule to your liking. The crew can recommend the best spots or activities, according to your wishes.
Day 1 – Board in BORA BORA
After being greeted at the airport, you will be transferred aboard the ROA motor yacht, where a welcome cocktail will be served to you. Once settled into your luxury cabin, have a dip in the lagoon's clear-blue waters before the yacht heads to TAHAA Island.
Day 2 – TAHAA, the Vanilla Island
On this luxurious, untamed island, spend the morning discovering the methods of black pearl cultivation, as well as the secrets of the vanilla plantations. Then, explore the emerald-green waters of the lagoon by snorkelling, or in a clear-bottom kayak, and observe the many exotic fish, rays and coral gardens. At dusk, your yacht will sail toward the RAIATEA Island.
Day 3 – RAIATEA, the Sacred Island
Explore this island and its magnificent mountains in an all terrain vehicle. Discover the famous Faaroa crater, then visit the "marae royal de Taputapuatea" where you will immerse yourself in Polynesian culture. Along the way, enjoy an initiation to tropical flora, most notably the famous and emblematic "Tiaré" flower. Spend the afternoon lounging, swimming and strolling on the beaches.
Day 4 – RAIATEA, the Magic of Nature
Your yacht will anchor in the Faaroa bay, the starting point of a canoe trip up the Aoppamoa River. Get a taste of Paradise in this unique ambiance of lush vegetation. Then spend the afternoon shopping and swimming before heading to HUAHINE Island.
Day 5 – HUAHINE, the Garden of Eden
While exploring the lagoons freely and safely on a jet ski, you might catch a glimpse of passing dolphins. Then, meander through the village of Fare and visit its typical seafront market full of crafts shops. The yacht will leave in the afternoon, heading to BORA BORA.
Day 6 – BORA BORA, the Romantic Island
This island has one on the most beautiful lagoons in the world and is a true jewel of the South-Pacific. Take the opportunity to scuba dive among harmless sharks and to explore the underwater marvels. Relax, have a picnic on a desert motu, go fishing or swimming. At the end of the day, take time to enjoy the fabulous sunset.
Day 7 – BORA BORA, a Scent of Eternity
After breakfast by the sea on a private motu, spend the last day visiting the numerous art galleries on the island. Then enjoy a last dip in the magnificent lagoon in the early afternoon, before the crew wishes you a safe trip home.
